Employment as a research physicist in research and development with the electronics
company Philips in their research laboratories in Aachen (Deutschland) and
Eindhoven (Netherlands) as well as in their lamp factory in Roosendaal (Netherlands) in 1987 and 1988.
Employment as a software developer with the software company SAP AG in
Walldorf/Heidelberg (Germany).
Employment and collaborations as a research physicist and reservoir engineer in R&D with Shell International Exploration and Production, Research and Technical Services from 1993 until 1998 in their research laboratory in Rijswijk
(Netherlands). Worked among others on a research project on the assessment of the applicability of satellite- and airborne remote sensing techniques in oil and
gas exploration in contact with the Shell Oil Company (Houston, USA) as well as
a research project in collaboration with the Technical University of Delft
(Nietherlands) on the experimental investigation of the morphology of oil-watermixtures during the flow in porous reservoir stone media and the separability of oil-water-mixtures during their production. Conducted a research project with the University of Stavanger (Norway) for investigating the effects of chemicallyassisted oil reservoir production und an internal research project for determining economically producable resources of coalbed methane.
Employment as a Trainee Patent Attorney with Firma Shell International, Intellectual Property Services in 1999 in their central offices in The Hague (Netherlands) und with Giesecke & Devrient in Munich (Germany).
Employment as a patent engineer and training as European Patent Attorney in the patent and law firm Bureau D.A. Casalonga-Josse in Paris and Munich from 2000 until 2003.
Since 2004, independent work as a patent engineer, translator und European
Patent Attorney in collaboration with several renowned patent law firms in Munich
(Germany), Switzerland and the U.S..
